Croatia Leads the Final Table in the World Cup of Poker VI

The preliminary rounds for the World Cup of Poker VI started with 52 teams from different countries all over the World. Only nine teams wrapped up at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort in the Bahamas to vie for the championship on the upcoming PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

The final nine teams to compete in Caribbean consist of five members each. Each team represented each country and the countries of Canada, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway and the United States are the top nine competing teams for Caribbean.

Preliminary round started with three types of events and has the nine-handed, six-handed and four-handed in the first round. One team member of each team per table was awarded based on the finish. Croatia is the leading team with 95 points, followed by Norway with 93 points and Canada on the third place with 85 points.

The second round has the one-on-one-heads up battle that each captain of the team competes. Still Croatia remains on the first spot with 100,000 chips that gives 20,000 per player and Finland falls on the second place with 90,000 chips and gives 18,000 per player and Canada also remains on the third place with 80,000 chips and 16,000 for each player. The nine countries will continue to fight for the championship with $100,000 worth of prize pool for the first winning team.
