Ivey also introduced his own charity known as the Budding Ivey Foundation. The said foundation was created by Ivey 2 years ago. He continue the footsteps of his grandfather, the late Leonard “Buds” Simmons. The mission of this deed is “Providing educational opportunities to empower at-risk children.”
The beneficiaries of this program include Roselle, New Jersey Pop Warner leagues. The foundation is conducting activities such as feeding program, and educational privileges and more. The proceeding will run for 35 days from the Main event. The prize of the this charitable causes will give any WSOP prizes such as charter school beset by embezzlement, the Langston Hughes Academy in Louisiana, Bad Beat on Cancer, Ante Up for Africa, and CharityWater.org.
